About 6 weeks ago I was asked by the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation to help them out. They have a number of hugely dedicated auxiliary groups who work tirelessly making and selling items to raise funds for the hospital. The RCHF wanted to celebrated them by holding a Twilight Market showcasing their beautiful wares.
As it was a Twilight Market, they wanted the whole room to embrace the theme, and they asked me to create a wintery but warm design through-out the space, the Malvern Town Hall.
Below you can see photos from the event. There was a metre high owl, 9 tree braches, 16 granny square rugs, 15 metres of crocheted bunting in the market colours and 109 metres of material bunting. The hospital has a school on it’s grounds for the kids who are staying there, they chipped in and made 200 of the most beautiful and delicate snowflakes to decorate the areas.
It was a beautiful market and I was honoured to be a part of it.
