Doolagah
Hand and rod puppet built for the Pixar exhibition at ACMI, Melbourne.
The Doolagah is a Dreamtime legend, a Wildman of the Australian Bush. He protects the environment, looking after the land and the sea (reference: Powerhouse Museum, Sydney)
Bunyip
Hand and rod puppet built for the Pixar exhibition at ACMI, Melbourne.
Bunyips are said to lurk in swamps, billabongs, creeks, riverbeds and waterholes. At night their blood-curdling cries can be heard as they devour any animal that ventures near their abodes. (reference: Wikipedia: Bunyip)
